Making your professional video resume (or what we term PVR) with RezBuzz is easy, and a dynamic way to present yourself and your image in a top quality way to recruiters and potential employers.
You simply submit an email request – and then we set up a time and location to film you. It can be at your home, office, or other location. The videographer will show up and set up a camera and lights, and administer a microphone for professional sound quality.
You will then be asked the following questions that have been devised by our recruitment experts.
- Where did you (or do you) go to college, and what was your major, and why?
-- (Or tell us something interesting about your background)
- What are your major accomplishments both personally and professionally?
- What are your future goals (next 3-5 years)….or what motivates you?
- What makes you unique? ( this is your chance to set yourself apart- with special skills, interests, alliances etc)
Make sure that each answer is no longer than 30 seconds long to keep the video under 2 minutes. Do not memorize the answers, just be familiar with the questions- since the goal is to have an authentic response.
After the shoot, the footage will be digitized and edited to be approximately 2 minutes in length. This is the standardized format of the RezBuzz video resume model, so recruiters and employers know what to expect. The video resume will be edited within 3-7 days and then uploaded to your designated RezBuzz page for you.
